Grip type

Grip type couplings are axially restrained, its grip fixes pipes and makes them not move or separate from each other.
This is a good alternative to welding, flange, grooved joint, union, etc.

Grip types

For plastic pipes such as PVC or PPR, plain grip (special order) prevents those pipes from being damaged by grip's teeth.
Serrated grips are also still okay.
