DSME has both shipbuilding and offshore engineering businesses located in its shipyards.

The company's 900-ton goliath cranes and dry docks are capable of building hulls of up to 125 m in width and provide optimal conditions to build FPU products such as TLPs and Semi-submersible platforms.

The upper and lower portions of a FPU, altogether or separately, are made via streamlined production lines.
