Deck Stand should be operated with extension towards position above deck outfitted with valve when valve operation position based on calculation of engine room submergence does not conform to requirements of respective classification societies' rules among marine sea suction valve and other valves in engine room. For valves other than those outfitted in engine room which need to be operated in upper direction from seawater surface or on the open deck as required by rules of classification societies, the Deck Stand should be also installed. (

When Deck Stand is installed, YOKE&FORK and UNIVERSAL JOINT are connected together.)
