About Supplier

Over 1 million people were involved in the construction of the 2,100,000㎡ Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries shipyard, which has been operational since 1992.

In addition to the approximately 40 large capacity transport vessels, such as container ships, tankers, LNG carriers, LPG carriers, car carriers, and bulk freighters, manufactured annually, our marine facilities division also builds Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO), Floating Production Units (FPU), and semi-submersible drilling vessels, and our industrial division produces a variety of cranes and bulk transportation vehicles.

In 1999, Samho Heavy Industries was entrusted to Hyundai Heavy Industries, and was formally incorporated as a member of Hyundai Heavy Industries Group in 2002. Since then, the company has been recognized for its superior quality in all business aspects, from R&D to product design at the front, to sales and customer support (A/S) on the backend. Our synergetic approach to building top-notch products and delivering renowned customer care is what puts Hyundai Heavy Industries at the top.

In particular, we are focused on both developing and producing products that utilize Green and Smart technologies, and on securing a place in the future by establishing eco-friendly production bases and expanding on-site application of Information & Communication Technology (ICT).

Both executives and employees of Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries continue to rise up to meet new challenges. We will spare no effort in our mission to create new value and contribute to the mutual prosperity of the region, the country, and humanity, as we dedicate ourselves to the development of our company.
