Damper

SHUT-OFF DAMPER

-Shut-off dampers are dampers installed to totally cut off the airflow in connection with fans.

VOLUME CONTROL DAMPER

-Volume-control dampers are installed to control the quantity and pressure of airflow.

PRESSURE RELIEF DAMPER

-The blade is opened by power of the spring when pressure becomes more than the fixed one, so pressure is automatically controlled.

Pressure relief dampers are installed to control indoor pressure.

Pressure relief dampers generally are installed in air locks and natural exhaust ducts.

NON-RETURN DAMPER / BACK DRAFT DAMPER

-Non-return dampers or back draft dampers are installed to prevent air within ducts or rooms from flowing backward.
They are installed in the middle of airflow or at the end of the supply.

FIRE DAMPER

-When a fire occurs, poisonous gas and flames instantly move through ducts passing through fire walls and the fire taking place in
one area affects other areas too. Fire dampers are installed to cut off flames in order to prevent damage caused by flames.
