Product Description

MARINOMATE-600

· Ballast Pump Capacity : 600㎥/h      · Power consumption : 16KW     · Size(Unit :㎜) : 1128 x 1360 x 480

Operation Principle

The ballast water is is flowed in from the sea chest, into to the Plankill pipe unit by using ballast pump of MARINOMATE BWMS. The Plankill pipe unit shocks and damages aquatic organisms by conflict and warm current.

The damaged organisms are efficiently sterilized by the oxidizer(TRO) generated in the "Electrolyzer" unit, The oxidizer is remains in the treated ballast water, ensuring that the organisms cannot regrow while the ballast water is loaded in ballast tank.

CHLORINE REACTS IMMEDIATELY WITH THE WATER TO PRODUCE HYPOCHLORITE(OCL-) AND HYPOCHLORUS ACID(HOCL) WHICH HAVE THE CAPABILITY TO OXIDIZE MICROORGANISMS. IN ADDITION, THE HYPOCHLORITE IS MAINLY SEPARATED INTO HYDROGEN IONS(H+) AND HYPOCHLORITE ION(OCL-) AS PH IS INCREASED, IF THE PH IS AGAIN REDUCED BY COMBINING THE HOCL.

NaOCL, HOCL, OCL- GENERATED BY ELECTROLYTIC APPARATUS ARE CALLED TOTAL RESIDUAL OXIDANT

Superiority

Modular design and Compact size
MARINOMATE consists of independent modules, therefore it can be easily delivered and installed. Its compact design arrangement ensures that it can be installed on existing small vessels because it takes up small space.

High efficiency and low power consumption
MARINOMATE consumes less than 30KW based on 1000M3/H of vessel’s ballast pump volume. Therefore, it can be efficiently used with the existing generator capacity!
MARINOMATE ensures great performance by continuously sterilizing action in ballast water for a certain period of time

No corrosion
The corrosion tests conducted during the trial phases have proved that there is no noticeable effect of corrosion on the ballast water tanks and ballast pipe lines

Economical installation and maintenance costs
The Compact and Modular design of the equipment allows for speedy installation during voyage and/or anchorage.
The subsequent Maintenance cost is economical since MARINOMATE does not need filter. Therefore, the maintenance cost is economical.
