Product Description


PROBLEM

- SUS316 material is resistant to sea water but very weak to erosion by cavitation. Its surface is easy to be damaged. Once damaged, it accelerates cavitationand affects the motor while causing severe vibration that damages the pump.


COUNTERMEASURE

- KCC surface treatment of KST shows surface hardness HV1300 and friction coefficient 0.4 at least. It reduces cavitationand prevents erosion owing to high surface hardness.





PROBLEM

- Various slurry pump impellers show severe abrasion by composites and corrosion by chemicals, significantly reducing pump performance and causing high costs due to frequent repairs.
