Non-Line Tensioner Cylinder Package System

Riser Tensioner that is installed on the ship of offshore oil well drilling keeps the heaving motion between BOP and riser when drilling, protects the drilling equipment at the time of LMRP unlatching. It is combining the rising of stable tensile force hydraulically with air damping function at the same time.

COMPONENTS

- Cylinder
It is the core part which affect actually the correction between cylinder's stroke and heaving of surface friction, as a part that raise the sustainable tensile force.

- Supporting Ring
Connecting and disconnecting the Riser and Riser Tensioner, transmitting the cylinder pressure, the key part patented by foreign country.

- Accumulator
Part that comprising with lower oil and upper air parts mixed together, and is operated by density difference and has function of upper Air Damper to correct the motion of heaving.

- Working APV(Air Pressure Vessel)
Raising the pressure of actual operation

- Standby APV(Air Pressure Vessel)
Storing the pressure of HP Compressor

- Control System
Controlling the pressure of Working APV out of Standby APV, sensing and monitoring the amount of accumulator

- HPU
Replenishing the oil of Accumulator
